Ticketing Tech Platform Project Admission Recruits Carl Thomas

Industry veteran Carl Thomas has been hired as a senior strategic advisor by ticketing tech platform Project Admission. Via its integration with North America’s major ticketing companies, Project Admission claims to offer “additional tools, features and functionality ranging from enterprise-level ticket management across multiple venues to premium sales to customized group offers.”

The mission:

• Thomas is charged with escalating the company’s growth and expanding its footprint across sports and live entertainment.

• He will advise on market expansion, partnership development and revenue strategy.

• As per the company’s statement, his appointment comes as Project Admission “is deepening its footprint across sports, live entertainment and broader ticketing ecosystems to provide enterprise-level offerings to key stakeholders in travel, touring properties and event discovery verticals.”

Background:

• Thomas’ most recent role was leading ASM Global’s sales and platform development.

• Prior he occupied roles such as CRO of sponsorship analytics and valuation platform for sports, Hookit; CEO of X-1 Audio; CMO and CRO of Tickets.com; and Senior Vice President at Universal Studios.
