A new ticketing app called Seatfun has launched with the mission to “give venues, promoters, and festivals the tools and resources to meaningfully increase revenue, improve marketing, and elevate the customer experience.”
But how?
Founded in 2025 by Chief Executive Officer Daniel Mastropietro (who founded LeadFriend and Mastro Labs) and Chief Operating Officer Josh Misko (who co-founded Incubate Talent Group), the app offers a laundry list of features.
It allows users to create and manage events, sell tickets with optimized checkout flows, accept Apple Tap to Pay directly on the phone, scan tickets instantly with no extra hardware, build loyalty programs, and own their customer data.
It also offers the ability to run SMS marketing, track pixels across TikTok, Snapchat, Meta and Google, get instant daily payouts, and more.
In addition, the app boasts a marketing suite as well as fraud prevention systems.
Invite only:
Seatfun is an invite-only platform.
It says this is to “protect event quality, protect buyers and protect venues” from ticketing scams on various marketplace platforms.
Early breakthrough:
In the six months prior to officially launching, Seatfun says it was adopted by over 100 event organizers of all sizes.
It says it has raised funding “at a multi-million-dollar valuation to continue building the next generation of ticketing.”
What they said:
Mastropietro and Misko, in a joint statement: “Events organizers and ticketing companies should thrive together, or dive together. Seatfun was created by events organizers for events organizers, and one principle will always remain our North Star: put humans first, nurture real connection, and deliver meaningful value. Period. The rest is just technology.”
