Sony Music Publishing Taps Sarah Pickering as VP Creative & Writer Services

Sarah “Pixie” Pickering has been promoted to Vice President, Creative & Writer Services, Co-Head of Sync at Sony Music Publishing (SMP). She will remain in the company's London office, reporting to SMP's Co-Managing Director UK, Tim Major, and President & Co-Managing Director UK, SVP International, David Ventura.

Pixie’s new role:

• Pickering will continue to co-lead SMP’s UK sync team as she has since 2020.

• She will focus on creating more opportunities for SMP’s roster across all media.

• She will also spearhead synergy with Sony Music and Sony companies working in film, television, and video games to increase the reach of SMP songwriters and catalogs.
