Central European ticketing agency Piletilevi PLG (PLG) has purchased Ticketportal, the ticketing agency which operates in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
The backstory:
PLG is Central Europe’s biggest ticket seller.
It entered the Czech and Slovak markets in 2023 when it acquired a majority stake in GoOut.net.
It purchased Ticketstream in April in collaboration with GoOut.
PLG operates in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czechia, Slovakia, Poland and Romania.

The deal will double PLG’s total ticketing volume to nearly €600 million ($693 million) annually, with an annual ticket volume of more than 21 million.
Lukáš Jandač, CEO of PLG Czech Republic, will take over as Ticketportal CEO.
Lucia Bočánková will continue in her role as Sales Director.
Sven Nuutmann, Chair of the Piletilevi PLG management board, will serve as Chair of the supervisory board.
As per IQ Magazine, PLG is owned by Nuutmann’s investment company Angel Rose Capital; the Baltics’ largest private equity firm BaltCap; and the Estonian capital-based investment company Tristafan.
