Tuma Basa is leaving YouTube after eight years as Director of Black Music & Culture. He announced his departure thanking collaborators across multiple continents. Before YouTube, Basa served as Global Programming Head of Hip-Hop at Spotify, where he became closely associated with the RapCaviar playlist, making him one of the most influential curators in Black music for over a decade. No next move has been announced.
Kevin Shivers has been promoted to Co-President of Music at THE·TEAM, the global agency formerly known as Wasserman. He will partner with President Lee Anderson in overseeing global strategy, operations, and growth across all sectors of the live business. Shivers' roster includes Tyler, the Creator, Kid Cudi, Kali Uchis, Vince Staples, and Jazmine Sullivan, among others.
Ann Marie Licata is now CEO of iHeartMedia's Multiplatform Group - the company's largest segment, covering 860+ local broadcast stations, live events and sponsorship, and the Premiere and TTWN networks. She previously ran iHeart's Markets Group & Sales Operations. Also this week, Jamie Cutburth comes on as EVP of Marketing, arriving from 10+ years at NBCUniversal across NBC, Bravo, E!, Peacock, NBC News, and Telemundo.
Andre Belcourt and Will Marshall join WME's contemporary music team in London. Belcourt comes from NGE Agency into the Electronic Music Department, with clients including Bontan and Mad.Again. Marshall joins from Primary Talent with beabadoobee, Baby Queen, and Gurriers on his roster.
Beth Kessenich joins whynow Media as VP of Sales & Business Development, North America, where she'll focus on building label, streaming, and artist partnerships and scaling the company's Great Big Story content studio as a commercial platform for the music industry. She was previously Sales Director at Optimum Media.

Janus Barnewitz, co-founder of Copenhagen's One Seven Music, joins Sony Music as MD of Denmark as part of Sony's acquisition of the Nordic label.
ATG Entertainment launched ATG Live, a new concerts, comedy, and events division led by SVP Erik Newson, who brings 30+ years across artist management, touring, and talent buying.
Mark Satlof stepped down as co-president of Shore Fire Media, closing out a 40-year run at the PR firm. He joined when founder Marilyn Laverty launched it in 1990. He's moving on to lead music history tours of NYC.
David Ryan Harris joins Spirit Music Group as VP of A&R, while maintaining a JV with his company Peace Pourage, Inc.
Shelby Marvel, formerly of Make Wake Artists, joins Borchetta Entertainment Group's new management division. The Band Perry is the division's first signing.
Sarah Rothschild, most recently with MSG Entertainment, joins VENU as SVP of Strategic Finance and Investor Relations.
