Michael Riggs Promoted to SVP Role at Sony Music Publishing

The exec will oversee licensing & income tracking

Sony Music Publishing (SMP) has promoted Michael Riggs to Senior Vice President, Licensing & Income Tracking, effective immediately.

The role:

  • Riggs will work to strengthen tracking operations and enhance matching capabilities for digital deals in the US and globally.

  • He will also continue to lead the licensing, sync administration, global income tracking and client audit teams.

  • Riggs will be based out of SMP’s Nashville office, and will continue to report to SMP’s Executive Vice President, Worldwide Administration, Dale Esworthy.
