
Joe Hadley
Spotify has appointed Joe Hadley as VP of Global Music Content and Partnerships. The exec was previously Global Head of Music Partnerships & Audience.
The role:
Hadley will now oversee Spotify’s Music Editorial and Music Partnerships teams, widening his remit across the company’s relationships with artists, labels, and the broader music industry.
He will report to Charlie Hellman, Spotify’s SVP and Global Head of Music.
Backstory:
Hadley joined Spotify in 2022.
A former booking agent, he spent five years at The Windish Agency before moving to CAA in 2016, where he became Global Co-Head of Hip-Hop & R&B.
His clients included Beyoncé, A$AP Rocky and Jorja Smith.
Also promoted:
J.J. Italiano has been named Head of Editorial, encompassing Global Curation, North American Editorial, as well as overall editorial strategy.
He will report to Hadley.
