Jeremy Vuernick Appointed to Atlantic Music Group’s Global Leadership Team
This is the latest move to further collaboration between Atlantic’s US and UK teams
Jeremy Vuernick, seasoned A&R executive and founder of the independent music company Queens Road Music, has joined Atlantic Music Group (AMG) as a new Executive Vice President. He will be based in London and focus on signing artists who can succeed in the US and the UK, like AMG stalwart Charli XCX.
Background:
Earlier this year, Atlantic UK Co-Presidents Ed Howard and Briony Turner also joined AMG’s global leadership team, burnishing the crossover between AMG’s UK and US operations.
Vuernick will report to them and AMG CEO Elliot Grainge.
Prior to this, Vuernick was President of A&R at Capitol Music Group.
What they said:
Vuernick: “The UK has long been one of the most influential markets in the world and a cultural leader in developing and exporting exceptional global talent. With Elliot cementing the natural relationship between the UK and US, and Ed and Briony leading the charge as two of the best creative leaders in the business, our combined force will take Atlantic and its artists to a new level of recognition and success.”
Howard and Turner: “This is the next exciting step to further link our UK and US teams to super-serve our artists and their visions. With Jeremy’s impressive A&R track record and stellar relationships, he’ll be a fantastic addition to our team, as we work together to discover and elevate the next generation of global superstars.”
Grainge: “I have worked with Jeremy for a number of years and I’m excited to officially welcome him into the AMG family. He comes to us with outstanding experience, instincts, and passion for artists, so he’ll be an ace addition to our newly aligned teams. Under the expert leadership of Ed and Briony, Atlantic UK has been a formidable source of chart-topping, game-changing artistry. With Jeremy now based in London, we are continuing to build our bridge across the ocean, ramping up our collective A&R and cultural firepower. ”
