The move expands DIO’s global talent management footprint
Los Angeles headquartered artist management company DIO Artists has merged with UnderCurrent Talent.
Backstory:
DIO Artists was founded by Benji Sheinman and Andrew Idarraga in 2016.
Its roster includes Dana and Alden, Foxtide, Never Ending Fall, and The Hails.
The company will continue to operate under the DIO name and brand, while gaining access to UnderCurrent’s expanded infrastructure, staff, and media brand partnership resources.
As per the official statement, the move will strengthen DIO’s artist and media management reach with the support of a larger global team.
What they said:
Benji Sheinman: “This partnership with UnderCurrent allows us to scale without losing what makes DIO special. Our artists and media clients will gain access to new opportunities, a global network, and a broader support system – while we continue to build their careers with the same hands-on approach.”
Eric Bogard, CEO of UnderCurrent Talent: “We’ve admired the work DIO has done building an impressive roster across both music and media. Bringing them into the UnderCurrent family reflects our commitment to supporting forward-thinking managers and expanding opportunities for talent on a global scale.”
