Punjabi artist Diljit Dosanjh has concluded the North American portion of his Aura World Tour, breaking several attendance records.
Landmark run:
Promoter Live Nation says Dosanjh’s North American tour drew more than 225,000 fans across 15 shows, grossing $32 million.
This is reportedly the highest-grossing North American run ever by a Punjabi artist.
It broke the record set by Dosanjh on 2024’s Dil-Luminati Tour, for which he drew 215,000 fans and grossed $27 million.
Other records:
Dosanjh performed two sold out nights at Madison Square Garden on May 24 and 25, the first South Asian artist to do so.
Live Nation says the North American presale, which sold more than 130,000 tickets in its first two days, was its largest ever for a South Asian artist.
Next up:
The tour’s next stop is London on September 12, where Dosanjh will break yet another record by becoming the first Punjabi artist to headline the 90,000 Wembley Stadium.
