
Dee Hale
Dee Hale has been promoted to SVP, Film & TV Administration at Sony Music Publishing (SMP), effective immediately.
The new role:
Hale will serve as the primary administrative contact for SMP’s studio clients and provide ongoing support to the company’s UK studio clients.
She will continue to serve as co-Chair of the Society and Publisher Forum A/V Committee, helping shape global practices in film and TV administration.
Based out of SMP’s Nashville office, she will continue to report to Dale Esworthy, EVP, Worldwide Administration.
Backstory:
Hale joined SMP in 1993 as Director of Film & Television Music Administration.
She has worked with legendary composers including John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Ennio Morricone, Howard Shore and more.
She has served as Publisher Co-Chair for CISAC’s Audio Visual Data Exchange Workgroups for the past 14 years.
