Capitol Records names Ian Holder and Tariq Stewart SVPs of A&R

Ian Holder and Tariq Stewart are the new Senior Vice Presidents of A&R at Capitol Records. They come to the subsidiary of Universal Music Group from Sony Music Publishing (SMP) and RCA Records, respectively.

Ian Holder:

• Holder was SVP of Creative at SMP for eight years.

• While there, he worked with major artists such as Lil Durk, Jack Harlow, Polo G, and Pusha T.

• He previously worked at Columbia Records and BMI.

Tariq Stewart:

• At RCA, Stewart worked closely with label President Mark Pitts.

• While there, he also signed world artists such as Libianca and Skillibeng, and contributed to the careers of A$AP Ferg, Rich The Kid, and Flo Milli.
