Capitol Music Group Merges Nashville Operations Under New Leadership
Capitol Music Group restructures Nashville operations, appointing Candice Watkins as president.
Capitol Music Group has revamped its Nashville operations and announced new leadership positions for industry vet Candice Watkins.
Why it matters:
Capitol Christian Music Group (CCMG) and country division Capitol Records Nashville will come together under the Capitol Music Group Nashville banner.
Candice Watkins will be the president of Capitol Records Nashville, and executive vice president of Capitol Christian Music Group.
Watkins was previously Senior Vice President of Marketing at Big Loud Records, overseeing the label's marketing, digital, creative, PR and streaming departments.
There she worked with artists such as Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Hailey Whitters and more.
Brad O'Donnell will remain as President of Capitol Christian Music Group, reporting to CEO Tom March.
