BTS Taps Netflix for Comeback Concert Livestream and Album Documentary
The K-Pop superstars will perform their first show in over four years next month
BTS have announced a livestream of their comeback show and a documentary exploring the making of their upcoming album, _ARIRANG_. Both will be hosted on Netflix.
The details:
The live-streamed concert will take place on March 21 at 8 pm Korea Standard Time.
The title of the stream is BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG. The show itself will be held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.
Netflix has not confirmed the final details of how to access the stream.
The album doc, entitled BTS: THE RETURN, will premiere on March 27.
The film will go into the making of the new album as well as the group’s reunion after performing their mandatory military service under South Korean law.
What they said:
Netflix: “BTS: THE RETURN offers an intimate look at the performers as they work through doubt and share in moments of laughter and rediscovery. BTS contemplates how to begin again, how to honor the past without being bound by it, and how to define an ever-evolving identity as the bandmates grow as artists and global icons.”
