Bandsintown Partners With Amazon Music to List Concerts on Artist Profiles
This builds on Bandsintown’s partnerships with YouTube and Apple Music for displaying tour dates
Bandsintown, a leader in concert listings, has announced a new partnership with Amazon Music. Similar to the previous collaborations with YouTube and Apple Music, this joint effort will display artists’ Bandsintown concert listings on their Amazon Music profiles.
How it works:
When artists upload new tour dates to their Bandsintown for Artists account, those dates will automatically appear on their Amazon Music profiles.
Amazon Music users can access tickets and more info for those dates via the artists’ profiles.
Venues, festivals, and promoters that are subscribed to Bandsintown Pro will have their events featured on Amazon Music.
All Amazon Music subscriber tiers can access tour dates.
Users in all Amazon Music territories can access tour dates, as well.
Prior to this new integration, Amazon Music merch offerings were available in the Bandsintown platform.
What they said:
Fabrice Sergent, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Bandsintown: “Artists win when fans can find their concerts just as easily as they find their music. Live shows drive artists' careers because of the remarkable experience they bring to fans, and we make promoting them effortless. Being listed once on Bandsintown automatically reaches core audiences everywhere, and now powering concert listings on Amazon Music will extend artists' reach to even more fans worldwide.”
Karolina Joynathsing, Director of Business Development, Amazon Music: "Live music is one of the most powerful ways fans connect with the artists they love—something we've seen firsthand through the livestream performances we've brought to fans worldwide. That's why we're thrilled to team up with Bandsintown, so fans can now discover upcoming shows from the artists they love on Amazon Music, alongside streaming their music, catching exclusive livestreams, shopping merch, and more, all in one place."
