ASCAP Elects Alisa Coleman to Board of Directors

ASCAP, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, has elected Alisa Coleman to its Board of Directors as a publisher member.

Backstory:

• Coleman is currently the Chief Operating Officer at leading independent publisher and record label ABKCO Music & Records, Inc.

• She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ABKCO’s operations, including business strategy, revenue growth and day-to-day management of its catalog.

• She works closely with ABKCO’s roster of songwriters, publishers and artists to ensure fair compensation and intellectual property protection.
