Apple Music has implemented a series of price rises across its subscription packages in the US, the UK, and Europe. Other territories are expected to follow.
The new fees – US:
In the US, the Individual plan rises from $10.99 a month to $11.99.
The Family plan jumps from $16.99 to $19.99 per month.
The Student plan is now $6.99, up from $5.99.

In the UK, the Individual plan is up to £11.99 from £10.99.
The Family plan is £19.99, up from £16.99.
The new fees – Europe:
In Europe, the Individual plan rises to €11.99 from €10.99.
The Family plan lifts to €19.99 from €16.99.

But why?
Apple Music attributes the increases to “rising licensing costs.”
These are the service’s first price rises since October 2022.
