Allison Jones Appointed EVP of A&R at Big Machine/Nashville Harbor

The exec played a key role in signing Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and more

Industry veteran Allison Jones has been appointed Executive Vice President of A&R at Big Machine Records/Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.

The role:

  • Jones will lead all A&R efforts across the roster, which includes Riley Green, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Aaron Lewis, Cole Goodwin and more.

Backstory:

  • Jones joined Big Machine in 2008 and played a key role in signing acts such as Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, The Band Perry, Riley Green and more.

  • She also contributed to the development and success of Tim McGraw, Lady A and Taylor Swift.

  • Prior she served as Toby Keith’s longtime A&R representative, before working with Reba McEntire across multiple projects.

  • She has also operated as Head of A&R at Giant Records, DreamWorks Nashville, and Universal Music Group Nashville.

  • Big Machine and Nashville Harbor are the core record company brands in Scott Borchetta’s portfolio of businesses.

  • In February this year he stepped down from his role as CEO of Big Machine Label Group under HYBE America to relaunch Big Machine Records, which he founded in 2005.
