AEG Heralds The O2 Arena’s ‘Record-Breaking’ Year

The venue’s ticket sales topped 2.9 million

London’s O2 Arena has enjoyed a “record-breaking” year, as per the venue’s owners, AEG.

2025 stats:

  • The O2 hosted 239 arena performances, a 19% increase on 2024.

  • 2.9 million tickets were sold, an 11.5% uplift from the year prior.

  • The venue hosted 55 first-time performers including Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae and Tyler, the Creator, a 34% increase on 2024.

Other highlights:

  • In 2025 The O2 completed its transition to 100% green energy.

  • It hosted a four-night run by Radiohead, with the band breaking the arena’s previous attendance record every night, setting a new high of 22,355 guests.

  • It also unveiled a three-year partnership with Music Venue Trust to aid the UK’s grassroots music ecosystem.

  • The venue also topped Billboard’s global charts for total attendance and number of shows, and ranked second worldwide for total gross.
