AEG Heralds The O2 Arena’s ‘Record-Breaking’ Year
The venue’s ticket sales topped 2.9 million
London’s O2 Arena has enjoyed a “record-breaking” year, as per the venue’s owners, AEG.
2025 stats:
The O2 hosted 239 arena performances, a 19% increase on 2024.
2.9 million tickets were sold, an 11.5% uplift from the year prior.
The venue hosted 55 first-time performers including Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae and Tyler, the Creator, a 34% increase on 2024.
Other highlights:
In 2025 The O2 completed its transition to 100% green energy.
It hosted a four-night run by Radiohead, with the band breaking the arena’s previous attendance record every night, setting a new high of 22,355 guests.
It also unveiled a three-year partnership with Music Venue Trust to aid the UK’s grassroots music ecosystem.
The venue also topped Billboard’s global charts for total attendance and number of shows, and ranked second worldwide for total gross.
