A2IM Shares 2026-27 Board of Directors

The independent music trade organization also revealed its Executive Committee and Advisory Board members

The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM), the independent music trade organization that represents over 600 labels, has shared its next leadership class. This includes its 2026-27 Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Advisory Board.

Executive Committee:

  • Glen Barros, Managing Partner of Exceleration Music, is the new chair of A2IM's Executive Committee.

  • Louis Posen, Founder and President of Hopeless Records, is the new Treasurer.

  • David Barnes, COO of Rhymesayers Entertainment, will serve as Secretary.

Board of Directors:

  • A2IM elected four new board members.

  • Katie Garcia, Owner and Founder of Bayonet Records.

  • Tony Kiewel, President of Sub Pop.

  • Steve Kline, President and COO of Better Noise Music.

  • Elliott Peters, Chief Legal Officer of EMPIRE.

  • Returning members include:

  • Jason Peterson, Chairman and CEO of GoDigital Media Group.

  • Victor Zaraya, Chief Operating Officer of Concord.

  • Steven Hill, Head of North America and Global Marketing at Warp Records.

  • Terry McBride, CEO of Nettwerk Music Group.

Advisory Board:

  • A2IM brought in two new members to its Advisory Board:

  • Sue Lucarelli, President of Epitaph Records.

  • Benson Curb, SVP of Revenue and Marketing at Curb.

  • Oscar Guitian, CEO of Serving Sounds, remains on the Advisory Board.
