Steven Blier
Steven Blier, born November 25, 1951, is an American pianist, recital accompanist, and musicologist, primarily known for his work in classical and art song. He is the co-founder and artistic director of the New York Festival of Song (NYFOS), established in 1988. Blier has also been a faculty member in the Department of Vocal Arts at The Juilliard School since 1992, contributing significantly to vocal music education and performance.
