Sharon Isbin, born August 7, 1956, is an American classical guitarist and multiple GRAMMY Award winner. Acclaimed for her lyricism and versatility, she is the founder and director of the guitar department at the Juilliard School. Isbin has been hailed as a pre-eminent guitarist of her time and was named Musical America Worldwide's 2020 Instrumentalist of the Year.
