Shakopee, Minnesota is poised to become a more significant location in the music industry with the upcoming opening of a 19,000-seat amphitheater in late 2025. This new venue, to be operated by Live Nation, is expected to host over 30 large-scale events annually, expanding the live music landscape in the Twin Cities area. The city also hosts an annual event called "Rhythm on the Rails" which features live music.
