Nina Yoshida Nelsen, born September 19, 1979, is an American mezzo-soprano renowned in the opera genre. She is celebrated for her powerful performances across North America and Europe. Nelsen is also a significant figure in arts advocacy, co-founding and serving as president of the Asian Opera Alliance, and holding the position of Artistic Director at Boston Lyric Opera.
