Kenny Young

Kenny Young (1941-2020) was an American songwriter, musician, producer, and environmental campaigner. Born Shalom Giskan in Jerusalem, he co-wrote the Grammy Hall of Fame hit 'Under the Boardwalk' and penned songs for The Drifters, Herman's Hermits, Quincy Jones, and others. He founded Artists Project Earth, combining his musical career with environmental activism.
