Julia Hartz is an American entrepreneur and investor, best known as the co-founder and CEO of Eventbrite, a global ticketing and event technology platform. She launched Eventbrite in 2006 with her husband Kevin Hartz and Renaud Visage. Before Eventbrite, she worked as a television development executive at MTV and FX Networks. Hartz graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunication.
