Jian Wang
Jian Wang (born 1968) is a Chinese cellist. He began studying the cello with his father at age four. Wang was featured in the documentary "From Mao to Mozart: Isaac Stern in China" (1979). He has since performed with many of the world's leading orchestras and was the first Chinese musician to sign an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon. He is a professor at the Shanghai Conservatory.
