Donald Harrison
Donald Harrison Jr., born June 23, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is an American jazz saxophonist. He began playing alto saxophone at 16 and studied at Berklee College of Music. Harrison is known for his "nouveau swing" style, blending jazz with R&B, funk, hip-hop, and African dance. He has performed with notable musicians like Art Blakey and is also the Big Chief of The Congo Square Nation Afro-New Orleans Cultural Group.
