Det Norske Jentekor (The Norwegian Girls Choir), founded in 1947, is a renowned Norwegian choir. Originally established as the Norwegian Broadcasting Company Girls Choir, it became an independent institution in 1994. Comprising approximately 110 talented female singers aged 6 to 26, the choir is celebrated for its contributions to Norwegian culture and its diverse repertoire, primarily in the classical and choral genres.
