Ciro Hurtado is a Peruvian guitarist and composer, born in Lima, Peru. He began his musical career in the early 1970s and is recognized for his contributions to Latin-based world-fusion and Latin American folk jazz. Hurtado was a founding member and musical director of the ensemble Huayucaltia. His work has earned him a Grammy nomination, highlighting his significant impact on the global music scene.
