Armando Anthony "Chick" Corea (June 12, 1941 – February 9, 2021) was an American jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader. A 27-time Grammy winner, he was known for his compositions such as "Spain" and "500 Miles High." Corea's musical style fluidly incorporated jazz, fusion, and classical elements throughout his career.
