Bastille is an English indie pop band formed in London in 2010. Originally a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith, the band expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist Will Farquarson, and drummer Chris Wood. They achieved breakthrough success with their 2013 debut album 'Bad Blood' and hit single 'Pompeii', which reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. The band has sold over 11 million records worldwide and won the British Breakthrough Act at the 2014 Brit Awards.
