Antonio Sánchez, born on November 1, 1971, in Mexico City, is a Mexican-American jazz drummer and composer. He began playing drums at age five and professionally in his early teens. A four-time Grammy Award winner, Sánchez is recognized for his work with Pat Metheny and his score for the film "Birdman."
