Alam Khan, born in California in 1982, is a two-time Grammy-nominated American sarod artist specializing in Indian classical music. He is the son of the legendary Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and a direct heir to the Senia Maihar gharana tradition, having studied sarod under his father from the age of seven.
