Warner Chappell Music Inks Global Publishing Deal With My Chemical Romance

Warner Chappell Music has signed an exclusive global publishing deal with My Chemical Romance (MCR). The agreement includes rights administration, copyrights, and sync opportunities for the band’s complete catalog.

Background:

• MCR has been in the Warner family since 2003, when Warner Music Group (WMG) took ownership of their label, Reprise Records.

• They released their multi-platinum albums, The Black Parade (2006) and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004) via Reprise.

• They also have a global merchandising agreement with WMG.
