Warner Chappell Inks Publishing Agreement With Rico O Muerto

Rico O Muerto, the growing Mexican independent label, has signed a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music (WCM) U.S. Latin and WCM Mexico.

Background:

• Rico O Muerto was founded in 2024 by prominent Mexican artist Oscar Maydon and the manager and songwriter Alexis “Chachito” Fierro.

• The label has offices in three Mexican cities: Mexicali, Mexico City, and Tijuana. It also has a presence in Los Angeles.

• The roster includes songwriters such as Omar Camacho, Regulo Molina, Carlos Manjarrez, Fernando Angulo, and Víctor Mendívil, the last of whom signed a 360 deal with the label in partnership with Downtown Artist and Label Services.
