Australian headquartered multi-service music company UNIFIED Music Group has formed a joint venture with Indian booking and talent coordination agency 7Entertainment and Indian artist management firm STARtist.
The details:
As per Music Ally, the JV will straddle the worlds of touring, artist management and recorded music, “with a vision to bring India’s music to the world, and the world’s music to India.”
The partnership will be formally announced at the All About Music conference in Mumbai next week.
Indian expansion:
The JV continues UNIFIED’s expansion into the Indian music market.
Earlier this year the company partnered with Mantra Roots to expand the global reach of spiritual and conscious music.
Other steps include promoting ISHAN at The Hills Festival in Meghalaya and his opening spot for Bryan Adams in Kolkata, and debuting his track on Big FM (340M+ listeners).
In partnership with Mantra Roots, UNIFIED brought Maithili Thakur and Radhika Das to Australia in 2024.
Last March they toured Jahnavi Harrison in Australia.
India is the world’s second-largest streaming market after the US.
What they said:
Sidhartha Todi, Head at STARtist: “We’re as committed to amplifying Indian voices globally as we are to helping international artists navigate India in a culturally relevant and sustainable way.”
Jaddan Comerford, Founder UNIFIED: “Sid and I have been working together on various tours over the last 12 months, and it’s clear that our businesses are stronger together.”
