Trust Records Names Sam Siegler and Mike Nucero as Creative Directors
The announcement formalizes a working relationship that started in 2020
Trust Records, the Los Angeles-based punk and hardcore reissue label, has appointed Sam Siegler and Mike Nucero Creative Directors.
Longstanding relationship:
Under their design banner Easy Does It, Siegler and Nucero have led the visual creative and storytelling behind Trust’s releases since its launch in 2020.
This announcement signals the first time the two have held executive titles at the label.
Preserving the legacy:
Trust seeks to promote, preserve and protect classic punk and hardcore releases.
Siegler is a legend of that scene, having played drums with Gorilla Biscuits, Side By Side, Youth of Today, Shelter, Judge, CIV, Rival Schools and 7 Seconds.
He has also had stints with Patti Smith, Limp Bizkit and Glassjaw.
Siegler was previously Creative Music Director with shopper marketing agency Lunchbox, and most recently led marketing initiatives at Revelation Records and managed artists Narrow Head and Soul Blind.
Nucero’s background spans design, strategy and cultural storytelling, having worked with brands such as Nike, Adidas, Supreme, Major League Baseball, Vans, UMG, and Warner Bros.
What they said:
Sam Siegler: “Working with Trust Records has given me the opportunity to work with my music heroes. As we continue to grow, I’m looking forward to working alongside Mike and the team at Trust to continue to tell the stories of the bands who have been so important to so many music fans around the world.”
