Too Lost x Xelon
New York-headquartered music company Too Lost Music Group has entered into a definitive partnership agreement with Xelon Entertainment, the Melbourne-headquartered independent music distribution company operating across APAC and the United Kingdom. Subject to regulatory approvals, the deal is expected to close by the end of 2026.
Why it matters:
Founded almost 20 years ago by Ashley Gay, Xelon has distributed more than a million recordings for independent labels and artists around the world, with a heavy focus on electronic and dance music.
The company has handled releases for artists including Hans Zimmer, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Dom Dolla, Pitbull, and many more.
The deal is expected to significantly expand Too Lost’s footprint across APAC, and strengthen its position as an independent distribution partner for labels and artists in the region.
Team structure:
Xelon Founder Ashley Gay will continue as President of Xelon and join Too Lost’s leadership team.
In his expanded role, Gay will drive growth for Xelon artists and labels, while driving Too Lost’s business development across Australia, New Zealand, the broader APAC region, the United Kingdom and Europe.
What they said:
Gregory Hirschhorn, CEO and Co-Founder of Too Lost: “Xelon has spent almost two decades building trust with some of the most important independent labels and artists in Australia, New Zealand and beyond. Ashley has built an incredible business with a deeply respected brand, and we’re excited about the opportunity to bring Xelon into the Too Lost Music Group ecosystem while preserving what has made the company so successful.”
