The Snuts’ Happy Artist Records Partners With Virgin Music Group, Expands Remit
The label will “support and champion” emerging Scottish and regional UK acts
Scottish indie band The Snuts have partnered with Virgin Music Group for global distribution of their label Happy Artist Records, which they launched in 2023.
Expanding mission:
As with their 2024 album Millennials, Happy Artist Records will release The Snuts’ next studio LP.
In addition, the label will also start to focus on discovering, signing and developing new artists across Scotland and regional UK.
The label is led by frontman Jack Cochrane alongside long-time managers Adam Harris and Callum Read.
It will announce its first signings next year.
The Snuts:
The Scottish act are the first band since One Direction to achieve three UK Top 3 albums in three consecutive years.
They’ve headlined shows in Japan, Australia, Europe and North America, and recently headlined Glasgow’s OVO Hydro arena.
Their new album will be released under Happy Artist Records and Virgin Music Group in 2026.
What they said:
Jack Cochrane: “As well as becoming a new home for The Snuts’ new music, I’m incredibly proud that Virgin Music Group are partnering with Happy Artist Records to empower us to sign and provide support to artists from regions around the UK and Scotland which are so often overlooked within the industry. We cannot wait for this next chapter to begin.”
