TEG to Phase Out UK Touring Operations by June 2026
The company’s shifting its regional touring focus to the Asia-Pacific
Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) has announced it will wind down TEG Touring UK’s operations by June 30, 2026, as per Pollstar.
Shifting focus:
In a statement to Pollstar, a spokesperson from TEG’s Australian headquarters said it is repositioning “its regional touring focus to the Asia-Pacific.”
The move follows the sale of TEG Europe’s UK venue portfolio to Propaganda Independent Venues last week.
The statement clarified there will be no impact on TEG Sport’s UK business, which will continue.
TEG’s UK Ticketek business will operate as normal.
Backstory:
TEG launched its European presence in 2022, with Toby Leighton-Pope at the helm.
It’s since promoted some of the UK’s biggest arena tours, such as 2024’s Girls Aloud reformation tour, which sold 300,000 tickets across 29 shows.
Regarding the leadership of TEG Europe, the spokesperson said: “We are deeply grateful to Toby Leighton-Pope and the UK Touring team for their leadership and contribution.”
