Sony Music Publishing Names ZaZa Kazadi Senior Director of A&R, UK/EU

ZaZa Kazadi has been promoted to Senior Director, A&R, UK & Europe, at Sony Music Publishing (SMP).

The role:

• Based in London, Kazadi will be responsible for expanding opportunities for songwriters in the UK and across Europe, focusing on hip-hop, rap, R&B and Afro.

Backstory:

• Kazadi joined SMP in 2024 as Senior A&R Manager.

• He was most recently Director of A&R, UK.

• Prior he managed artists and producers including ZieZie and Sonzi at Never Dies Management, and also spent two years as A&R Manager at BMG Music Publishing.

Signings:

• Since joining SMP Kazadi has signed BRITs Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act winner Dave, rising star EsDeeKid, Kidwild, Shallipopi, Fimiguerrero, as well as producers AOD (Tems, FKA Twigs) and Jo Caleb (Dave, Asake).

• He also works closely with the likes of Wizkid, Producer X and Jester Beats.
