Sony Music Publishing has acquired Monty Norman Limited, the company of the late composer responsible for the iconic James Bond Theme, as reported by Music Business Worldwide.

The filing reportedly states that Sony Music Publishing (UK) Limited now holds all 100 shares in the company.

Backstory:
The James Bond Theme was first heard in 1962’s Dr. No, and has featured in every Bond film since, as well as in James Bond video games.
