Seeker Music Group Partners With Virgin Music for Global Distribution

Seeker Music Group, the large-scale publisher and label, has partnered with Universal Music Group (UMG) subsidiary, Virgin Music, for global distribution. The deal is designed to further expand the reach of Seeker’s catalog, which is reported to be worth $400 million and includes 19,000 copyrights and recordings.

Background:

• In March, Seeker closed a $267 million asset-backed securitization against the value of its catalog.

• Seeker has recently worked with prominent artists such as Run The Jewels, Allen Stone, and Benny Sings.
