ROSTR Announces Searchable Promoter Database, ‘ROSTR Promoters’
This is the first database of its kind, and it complements ROSTR’s venue directory, ROSTR Venues
Music industry intelligence platform ROSTR has just announced its latest product: ROSTR Promoters. This is the first searchable promoter database, designed for pairing agents, managers, and artists with promoters around the world to streamline live event production and tour planning. Sign up for early access.
The details:
ROSTR Promoters will launch in 2027.
Each promoter profile will include information about past artists they’ve booked, events they’ve produced, and their primary locales.
ROSTR recently launched ROSTR Venues, which lists the promoters that operate in different venues.
With ROSTR promoters, information for the people who can get artists into those rooms will be immediately available.
Thus, artists and their teams can expand their live networks to different parts of the world with ease.
Background:
ROSTR announced ROSTR Promoters at the 56th Annual Conference of the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA).
IEBA members receive 50% off ROSTR’s annual individual plan and 25% off the annual Teams plan.
ROSTR developed IEBA’s job board, LIVE JOBS.
Recipients of IEBA’s Educational Outreach Fund Scholarship receive a complimentary one-year Pro subscription to ROSTR.
What they said:
Vivian Wang Donahue, Chief Growth Officer at ROSTR: “Promoters carry the financial risk on every show that goes on sale, and they are the least documented job in the business. We had to do venues first, because you cannot map a promoter without knowing the rooms. This is the other half of that.”
Brian Wagner, Executive Director of IEBA: “Our partnership with ROSTR is really about creating access and opportunity at every stage of a career. For our members, that means greater access to industry intelligence, professional development, and tools like LIVE JOBS that can help them identify opportunities and grow their careers and organizations. For our Educational Outreach Fund scholarship recipients, it means putting professional resources in their hands while they are still in college and giving them greater visibility into the people, companies, and relationships that make this industry work. When you connect those efforts with education, mentorship, and career opportunities for young professionals, we’re not just adding value to IEBA membership—we’re helping develop the pipeline of talent our industry needs for its future.”
