Reservoir Purchases Bertie Higgins’ Yacht Rock Catalog

Reservoir Media has acquired the catalog of American singer-songwriter Bertie Higgins. The deal includes his publishing and master rights.

Catalog:

• Higgins’ 1981 debut single, “Key Largo,” reached Number 8 on the Hot 100, and topped the Adult Contemporary chart for two weeks.

• His debut album, 1983’s Just Another Day In Paradise, broke the Top 40 of the Billboard Top 200.

• He’s subsequently released over 20 additional albums, including various compilations.

• He is regarded as a figurehead of the ‘Yacht Rock’ scene.
