Radiohead have broken the all-time O2 attendance record, with four sold-out shows surpassing Metallica’s previous landmark.
The record:
Radiohead played four shows at the London venue on November 21, 22, 24 and 25.
Each drew over 22,200 fans, with more than 22,355 attending the final show.
Metallica had held the attendance record at the O2 since 2017.
Return:
Radiohead’s sold-out 20-show tour across Europe and the UK marks their first shows since 2018.
£1/€1 from each ticket is being donated to charity.
In the UK the money is going to the LIVE Trust, which supports artists, venues, promoters, festivals and other grassroots spaces in the UK.
Money from the European shows is going to humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders.
