Radiohead Break Metallica’s Attendance Record at London’s O2 Arena

Radiohead have broken the all-time O2 attendance record, with four sold-out shows surpassing Metallica’s previous landmark.

The record:

• Radiohead played four shows at the London venue on November 21, 22, 24 and 25.

• Each drew over 22,200 fans, with more than 22,355 attending the final show.

• Metallica had held the attendance record at the O2 since 2017.

Return:

• Radiohead’s sold-out 20-show tour across Europe and the UK marks their first shows since 2018.

• £1/€1 from each ticket is being donated to charity.

• In the UK the money is going to the LIVE Trust, which supports artists, venues, promoters, festivals and other grassroots spaces in the UK.

• Money from the European shows is going to humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders.
