
Estonia-based ticketing firm PLG has acquired leading Romanian ticketing platform iaBilet.

The acquisition strengthens PLG’s European market position.
Over the past 18 months PLG has purchased Ticketstream, Ticketportal, bilete.ro, entertix.ro, and myticket.ro.
The deal:
PLG group is fully acquiring the stakes held by iaBilet’s key executives – CEO Emil Ionescu, COO Razvan Manta, and CTO Daniel Cute-Petric – as well as Resource Partners’ stake, after the private equity investor acquired an 82.5% interest in iaBilet last September.
The execs are expected to remain in the business.
IQ reports that PLG will continue investing in AI-driven solutions and in developing shared technology capabilities across the group.
The acquisition is subject to closing and regulatory approvals.
