After months of speculation, Phoebe Bridgers has confirmed the release of her long-awaited third album, Lost Weekend. The record will be out on August 14, with the first single coming tomorrow, June 25. Preorder links are now live.
Background:
This album was expected after Bridgers announced a world tour and performed several pop-up shows around the US, including one at Madison Square Garden.
At every show, she performed new music, which is assumed to be on the album.
Bridgers’ most recent solo album was 2020’s Punisher.
Between then and now, she released an album with boygenius, her supergroup with fellow indie stars Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker. That album is called the record (2023).
Bridgers has been rather silent since the boygenius tour wrapped in 2024, clearing her social media and not releasing any music.
She had scattered production credits during her break, such as on Jasmine.4.T.’s album, You Are The Morning (2025). The album was released on Bridgers’ now-defunct imprint, Saddest Factory Records.
