


Peter Sinclair, Founder of beatBread, Has Died
Sinclair was 50 years old, and he is survived by his wife, Kate Zaia Sinclair, daughter, Mary, and son, John.
Peter Sinclair, Co-Founder and CEO of beatBread, the financing platform for independent music projects, has passed away at the age of 50.
Sinclair’s legacy:
Prior to running beatBread, Sinclair worked at prominent companies in the entertainment and financing spheres, such as ScoreBig, Green Dot, and McKinsey.
He was also Senior VP of Consumer and E-Commerce at Universal Music Group.
Sinclair just secured $124 million in funding for beatBread. The company has already financed projects in amounts as high as $10 million.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5, at 10:30 a.m. at San Marino Community Church in San Marino, California.
